In its current «Hot Ten» series, GaultMillau has gathered the ten best «Rössli» in Switzerland – and our house on Lake Lucerne is among them. The selection by food journalist Daniel Böniger ranges from Basel and Bad Ragaz to Gstaad and Zurich. In this distinguished company stands the Hotel Rössli Weggis with its gourmet restaurant Equo 1706.
Head chef Matthias Gäth wins over the reviewers with an innovative cuisine built consistently on regional produce. As an example, GaultMillau highlights the Brüggli trout with a finely balanced sea-buckthorn-and-carrot beurre blanc, wafer-thin shaved cabbage salad and caviar. The tasting menu runs from four to seven courses and is awarded 14 GaultMillau points.
